About Me
Jemima is a 22-year-old 4* event rider based on her family farm in the Wiltshire countryside. Jemima has been riding and competing her whole life, growing up on the hunting field and competing in pony club events.

Jemima began her British Eventing career at the age of 12, and bought a young pony to produce for pony trials at 13. In 2016 Jemima took Jefke from BE 90 to Novice in his first season of eventing, and they were selected for the South West BE 100 U18 championships in 2018, completing with a double clear and a team win.

Jemima also took over the ride on Global H in 2018, who had been purchased as a 5-year-old for Holly Woodhead produce alongside Jemima while she saw out her pony career. They quickly gelled and completed three events at the end of that season, two of which being novices and all three were a top ten finish. In 2019 Jemima and Global H completed their first 2*, finishing 2nd in the Junior section at Tattersalls International. Three months later they then won their first 2* Long at the U18 championships in torrential rain, also helping team South West to a team win. These results put this pair in good stead for Junior European team selection the following year, but unfortunately covid hit and scuppered their plans.
With a small team of horses, I take pride in having produced each of them from the beginning of their eventing careers.

One of the highlights of my journey has been developing my 9-year-old Global Exotic, who finished 14th at the Blenheim 8/9yo 4* in 2024. I bought him unseen from Ireland as a rising 5-year-old when I was 17, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience to bring him through the levels. My love for producing young horses and building partnerships with them is at the heart of what I do.

Alongside my eventing career, I’ve just completed an English degree from Exeter University, which I hope to use in building a career alongside my event horses. Balancing both my academic and equestrian passions has been incredibly fulfilling, and I’m excited to see how the two can complement each other moving forward. In addition to competing, I’ve been enjoying helping with commentary and control during the 2024 eventing season, a role I hope to take on more in the future. Whenever I get the chance, I also ride out racehorses for Ralph Beckett, which has been a fantastic addition to my training.
